    Radio 4’s flagship news and current affairs programme. As a broadcast journalist, my role involves setting up news-making interviews, pitching original stories, editing interviews, and collaborating with on-air editors and correspondents.

  • The Media Show (2021-Present)

    BBC Radio 4 / BBC News Channel’s flagship show about the media industry, hosted by Ros Atkins and Katie Razzall. As a regular producer of the show, it’s my job to pitch stories, secure high-profile guests, structure discussions, and output edit the live programme for radio and TV broadcast. Highlights include an hour-long special on BBC impartiality and interviews with Martin Lewis, Gary Younge, Piers Morgan, Sir John Hegarty, and podcast legend Ira Glass.

  • Any Answers? (2018-23)

    The companion programme to Radio 4’s Any Questions? in which listeners have their say on the political talking points of the week. As a regular studio producer, I led a team of 10 production staff. My role included dealing with editorial issues, making quick judgements on callers’ suitability for broadcast, and curating the programme’s social media.

  • Saturday Live (2019-22)

    Radio 4’s live Saturday morning show, featuring an eclectic mix of celebrity guests and extraordinary individuals. The role involved tracking down ordinary people with extraordinary stories, writing briefs, and recording/editing radio features.

  • Last Word (2018-21)

    Obituaries programme which celebrates the lives of people who have died recently. The role involved producing interviews, crafting richly textured radio features to tight deadlines, and responding to breaking news.

  • Rewinder (2021)

    I’ve produced episodes of this entertainment show in which Radio 1’s Greg James digs into the BBC’s archives, using current stories and listener suggestions to uncover hidden gems. I was responsible for sourcing quirky archive, creating a running order, and putting together the finished programme.

  • Assistant Producer (Various) 2017-19

    Between 2017 and 2019, I worked as an AP/researcher on a wide variety of Radio 4 series including Start the Week, In Our Time, Feedback, The Reunion, Whodunnit, Whatever Happened To, and Something of the Night.
